The Body of Christ worldwide is in serious internal crisis; a cold war between her structural existence and operational standards set by man to portray what a growing and expanding church looks like.

From the time of King David, which he conceived to build a Holy Temple for God, huge and beautiful, the trend and standard of a living church was raised by structural appearance to something that only very few people can afford. Solomon eventually fulfilled the heart desire of his father - King David by completing the Beautiful Temple of Jerusalem in 957 BCE. King Herod the Great renovated this temple by expansion and transformed it into "an edifice of splendor", again raising the bar of the standard of what the world assume to be a "true house of God".

Today, the mindset of christians expectedly grows forward, inspired by King David, Solomon and Herod the Great, such that every pastor wants to either build a cathedral as a Church building for his church or prefers to preach in a denomination housed in a mansion. Eventually, the struggle of a pastor or any General overseer of today is no more soul winning first, but the tension surrounding the acquisition of a mega church building, or at least a beautiful Cathedral of attraction.

 

Jesus objected to this idea when he stated variously that the house of God should be called "a house of prayer", and when he defined the quorum for a great church to be "where 2 or 3 people gather in His name" (Matthew 18:20). He also frowned at a "church within walls" in His short conversation with a Samaritan Woman at the site of Jacob's well, in John 4: 20-24.

Yet, in the beginning, Christian churches gather in open temple courts, houses and homes of devotees. The HCF 2-3 Church Project is an Apostolic concept of Church gathering, growth and expansion for an ideal church. It seeks to restore the operational standard of the church of Christ to the known simple way of gathering in affordable places like homes, town squares, and redeeming it from the crisis of "Cathedralism".

TMI is training more missionaries worldwide and sending forth others to the field for practical demonstration of the HCF 2-3 project. More than 5,000,000 missionaries would be trained, and about 2,000,000 families are expected to surrender and/or designate their homes as centers for church fellowships in the ages to come, starting from the Philippines in Asia and spreading into all other countries of the world.
